Our Country's Culture Values (again)

Heroism is a huge part of our culture. The anniversary of 9/11 just took place, when on that day ten years ago, so many people lost their lives and tried to save others.  We have soldiers fighting for our country across the world, sacrificing time with their family to protect our country. Even small acts of heroism occur everyday throughout the country from just an average person who is just trying to help someone through the day.

Everybody counts on their friends at any given time, whether they are having a bad day, need someone to talk to, or just need relax. We share so much of what happens in our lives with them basically on a daily basis and we trust them with what we tell them. We count on our friends to be there for us just as we will be there for them through good and bad times in our life.

We express ourselves through art and beauty when there are no words to describe ourselves. What people draw and how people look tells so much about a person. Without being stereotypical, we realize this is how so many people show their feelings when they have no other way. When people sketch or paint, that piece of art means something to them and was created by a feeling the artist needed to express, but it's up to us how we want to interpret the art and find the beauty inside.

  1. Passive Voice: When people sketch or paint, that piece of art means something to them and was created by a feeling the artist needed to express...

Corrected: When people sketch or paint, that piece of art means something to them and a feeling inspired the artist to create something to express that feeling...
